In the first major release of the year, Dunelm Optical has brought its popular Paul Costelloe optical collection up to date with 16 new styles.
The new 2015 collection combines a sophisticated mix of modern metals and acetates for men and women. All of Costelloe’s signature traits are present – classic shapes, contemporary lines and subtle detail - for an easy to wear, fashionable new range from one of the London Fashion Week Establishment.
Updates come through a more experimental use of colour and materials. Matte metals and plastics are fused with hard wearing wood on frame PC 5124 and 5125, while racing car favourite carbon fibre is used again in PC 5132 for strength, durability and a premium quality feel. Also look out for semi rimless style PC 5131, predicted to be a best seller for fashion forward men this season.
Female frames feature splashes of embellishment such as floral temples and white grey marble surface prints, made more striking against a classic black front frame. More adventurous colour palettes play with pastel ombre effects and silvery transparent acetates (PC 5127), while shapes centre around flattering high joints.
Peter Beaumont, managing director at Dunelm, said: “There’s a real freshness around the new collection, bringing out the best in Paul’s strong design credentials. Elegance and sophistication is, as always, front of mind with the Costelloe eyewear range.”
